Barcelona to go 'all out' to land Haaland

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has made Erling Haaland his prime target for the summer of 2025 as per Sport.

Laporta wants to make a high-profile signing before the end of his term in office and the club have identified the Norwegian as their major target. the relationship between the Barca president and Haaland's agent Rafaela Pimenta is very fluid. There is a lot of trust between both parties and they hope that may help them make the signing.

Barcelona have shown interest in Thomas Partey as they look to explore the free agent market for new signings.

Despite making an impressive start to their 2024-25 campaign under Hansi Flick, the Catalan giants continue to look for more players to further strengthen their squad and Relevo reports that they are keen on signing Partey from Arsenal next summer after his current deal expires.

FA contact Guardiola about England vacancy

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly been approached by the FA about becoming England's next manager.

According to The Times, the FA made informal contact with Guardiola at the start of the season as they attempt to identify Gareth Southgate's permanent replacement. The governing body are considering other candidates as well, but the City boss would be the "standout option" should he decide to leave the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires at the end of this season.
