Man City may target Martin Zubimendi after Rodri injury
Manchester City are reportedly considering a move for Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi as they try to find cover for the injured Rodri.
Speculation has mounted that City will look to sign a defensive midfielder in January after talisman Rodri was ruled out for the season through injury. Now, according to Spanish Publication Relevo, Pep Guardiola's team 'want to take advantage' of Zubimendi's £50.3m ($65.8m/€60m) release clause and make a move for him in a few months - with the 25-year-old yet to sign a new contract with the Liga team.
Jarrell Quansah opens up after signing new Liverpool contract
Speaking to Liverpool's club media, Quansah said: “I couldn’t be happier at this minute.
“I think the way the new manager has come in, his coaching style has definitely been a massive part of that and I think it is the best club in the world for me to develop at and become a better player.
“I think the players around me, who I’m looking to work hard off and listen to, I think they’re the best in the position at the minute. So, like I said, there is probably no better place I could be.”
Torino respond to Man CIty interest in Ricci
Manchester City are reportedly interested in Torino's Samuele Ricci and the Serie A club's director Davide Vagnati has respnded to the interest.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Vagnati said: "I won’t comment on Manchester City.
“What I can say is that we signed Ricci when he was very young and it was an important investment, we and the President believed in him and spent big money for this player.
"He believed in his work, has improved a great deal physically, he already had the vision, and I think he is capable of playing for any coach or club."
Michael Zorc could return to Dortmund in new role
Borussia Dortmund announced that former sporting director Michael Zorc might rejoin the team as a supervisory board member. Due to their decision to retire, two existing supervisory board members will not be seeking reelection. When Dortmund holds its annual general assembly in November, Zorc will be running for the board.
Since leaving Dortmund in 2022, Zorc has been a member of the supervisory board of Dortmund-based company Adesso SE.
