Arsenal decided against strengthening their forward line in the summer, but they continue to be linked with Europe's top strikers.
TeamTalk reports that Serbia international Dusan Vlahovic is now at the top of the Gunners' list of targets, and after enduring a tough start to the season with Juventus he could become available.
Vlahovic scored 16 Serie A goals in 33 appearances last season, and while he has netted twice in this campaign his performances have not been to the same level. The 24-year-old was taken off at half-time in Saturday's goalless draw at home to Napoli.
Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Vlahovic, who hasn't scored for a month, isn't suited to the playing style of new Juve boss Thiago Motta.
That could lead to Vlahovic becoming available. Juve quoted a transfer fee of €80m in the summer, but as his contract expires in 2026, the clock is ticking down on his transfer value. If no extension is signed, Juve might have to lower their demands.
Calciomercato says that Juve want to extend Vlahovic's contract until 2028 or 2029 with a salary of €10m per year, although negotiations are at a standstill.
Arsenal only have Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for their forward line, though loanee Raheem Sterling can also play in an advanced role, and could make a move into the market if the right option comes along. They have also been linked with Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, Lille's Jonathan David, RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram.
