The report claims that the Bavarian side are preparing a bumper offer to trump Los Blancos in the transfer race. When asked about signing the Al-Hilal star, he asked: "Will you help me pay Neymar? If you help me pay Neymar, I'll think about it, you know?

"Jokes aside, let's be serious. If Palmeiras got to this point, it's because we worked very hard. Football is no joke; you're playing with the passion of millions of people. I'm not going to leave horrible legacies for Palmeiras to pay for. I'm not going to do anything crazy. We have won all the titles with our squad. It is strong, I trust our team."

Liverpool are preparing to open negotiations with winger Luis Díaz over a new contract, according to Football Insider. The Colombian international, who had been linked with a potential departure during the summer transfer window, has impressed with his performances this season, contributing five goals and one assist across all competitions. Díaz, 27, is currently under contract with Liverpool until 2027, but the club is reportedly keen to extend his deal further as a reward for his standout form.

City hurdle to find Rodri's replacement

Manchester City's hierarchy is set to meet with manager Pep Guardiola during the upcoming international break in October to review their squad's needs and discuss potential January reinforcements in midfield after Rodri got injured, according to HITC.

While City already have capable midfielders such as Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes, the club has frequently deployed defenders in advanced roles, with players like Manuel Akanji, John Stones, and Rico Lewis all adept at pushing forward into midfield when needed. The club's versatility in this regard may lessen the urgency for a new signing, but all options will be carefully evaluated in the coming weeks to determine if reinforcements are required.

Galatasaray want to keep Osimhen permanently

Galatasaray are determined to retain Victor Osimhen beyond the current season, according to club board member Ibrahim Hatipoglu. The Nigeria international, who joined the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Napoli, has been the subject of speculation regarding a potential early departure in the upcoming winter transfer window.

In a recent interview with Hurriyet, Hatipoglu firmly dismissed these rumours, insisting that Osimhen will remain with the club beyond January. "There is no chance that Osimhen will leave the team in January," Hatipoglu stated. "In fact, we are planning for him to play next season as well. The player shows his attachment to Galatasaray in every match. People play where they are happy. We should focus on how to continue with Osimhen in future seasons rather than discussing whether he will leave during the mid-season break."
