Liverpool targeting four centre-backs for next summer

Liverpool are scouring the market for a new centre-back amid the uncertainty surrounding Virgil van Dijk and TEAMtalk have revealed that Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer is viewed as one of the 'ideal candidates' to be added to the Liverpool squad. Liverpool boss Arne Slot is said to be a big admirer of Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio. Sevilla's Loic Bade has also been identified as a target by Liverpool's recruitment chiefs but there is a significant obstacle to a deal. The defender Liverpool have been watching for the longest time though is Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi, who came close to joining Newcastle over the summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering the signing of Martin Zubimendi if their interest in Manchester City man Rodri amounts to nothing, and the former has made it clear a move could happen. Real Madrid have Rodri in their sights as the next huge addition to the midfield. But as per Ekrem Konur, if they can't get him, there's a contingency plan in place. He reports that Real will consider signing Real Sociedad's Zubimendi if their pursuit of the Manchester City midfielder fails.

Martial completes AEK medical
