Rodri has enjoyed a stellar run of form for the past few seasons for club and country. After winning every trophy since joining Manchester City in 2019, he helped Spain bag the European Championship this summer. Per The Independent, the midfielder's stellar run of form has caught the eye of Real Madrid who are plotting an ambitious move for him.

The 28-year-old City talisman, who penned a fresh five-year deal in 2022, still has three years left in his existing contract. He recently opened up about his future at Etihad Stadium at a press conference amid interest from Los Blancos.

The Spaniard said to reporters, "I have three more years at Man City and when I sign the contract I don’t think of other teams. So I have three more years at Man City, and nothing more to say."
