Napoli director confirms Meret to be handed new deal
Napoli director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that the club are planning to hand a new deal to goalkeeper Alex Meret. Speaking to reporters, Manna said, "We want to get new deal done for Alex Meret and he wants to continue here. He's an important goalkeeper and we've never considered to replace him."
Rabiot reveals why he joined Marseille
France international Adrien Rabiot, who joined Ligue 1 giants Marseille on Sunday on a free transfer, revealed why he agreed to sign for the French side.

Per HITC, Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. The young midfielder recently earned his maiden international cap for England against Ireland after an impressive campaign with Forest in the 2023/24 season. Two other Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on signing the player.
Mendy set to extend Real Madrid stay
Per AS, left-back Ferland Mendy is all set to sign a new two-year deal with Real Madrid that will keep him at the club until 2027. The report claims that the club and the player have agreed on the terms of the new deal and he is expected to put pen to paper on the new contract soon. His current deal was due to expire next summer.
Asllani signs new Inter contract
Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani has put pen to paper on a new Inter deal, the Serie A giants confirmed on Monday. The official statement from the club read, "FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has reached an agreement for the contract extension of the player Kristjan Asllani: the 2002-born midfielder will be a Nerazzurri player until 30 June 2028."
Bayern Munich uncertain about Musiala extension
Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has admitted that it will be difficult for the Bavarians to convince Jamal Musiala to sign a contract extension.
Speaking to German publication Sport1, Eberl said: “It's difficult, but not impossible – as Jamal knows what he has at Bayern Munich. He grew up here and has brought himself to this level. Talks are intensifying. We are extremely ambitious, and he knows that he wants to win titles.”
