{by} Goal.com

West Ham could sell Antonio and Ings in January

West Ham signed Germany international forward Niclas Fullkrug from Dortmund this summer but the club are looking to add one more striker to their roster in January. However, if they want to sign a new player, they would first have to reduce their wage bill.

Accordingly, the Hammers are reportedly looking to sell Michail Antonio and Danny Ings, per Football Insider. Both players are in the final year of their contracts and the Premier League side want to cash in before they leave for free next summer.

Newcastle Unlikely to sign Man Utd's Antony

According to former England and Leeds United goalkeeper Paul Robinson, Newcastle United are unlikely to sign Manchester United outcast Antony as he considers the Brazilian too lightweight for the Premier League.

Speaking on Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Robinson said: "Antony, no, I don't think anybody at Newcastle would touch him. Listen, there's a good player there, but he's too lightweight for the Premier League, he takes too much time on the ball and it's a league that's too quick for him. When you look at other leagues, the Dutch league that he stood out in or maybe the Spanish league La Liga or Ligue 1 maybe more suited to a player like him. But you look at the way that he's struggled at Manchester United, Newcastle will look at themselves on a level with Manchester United. They're competing for the same things, European football, they both want to be in the top four, that's the type of level that they're on now. The Newcastle fans nor the board will look at Anthony and go, 'That's going to improve us in any way.'"

Marseille sign Rabiot on a free transfer

Ligue 1 giants Marseille have confirmed the arrival of Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer on Sunday. The Frenchman became a free agent this summer after his Juventus contract expired at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Bayern hopeful of retaining Musiala

Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has opened up about Jamal Musiala's contract situation at the club. Speaking to Sport1, Eberl said, "New deal for Musiala? It will be difficult but not impossible. Mikayil Faye's agent says he rejected Man Utd move

The agent of Mikayil Faye says Manchester United were interested in signing his client before he opted to leave Barcelona for Rennes this summer.

Speaking to the Inkubator podcast, Faye's agent Andy Bara said: "Manchester United were interested in Faye, but he didn't like that option. He wasn't a regular at Barcelona, so what did it matter if he hadn't had the same at United? His development wouldn't have progressed at all.

"Barca wanted a buy-back clause in Faye's contract with Rennais, it was the only condition that Barça accepted. The clause is €30 million (£25m/$33m). Now everything depends on Faye, on how he is going to develop."

Parkinson claims Wrexham can't make same transfers as Birmingham

Phil Parkinson claimed Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney's Wrexham cannot afford to match Birmingham's £20m spend and neither do they deem it necessary.

"The top end of transfers in this division has been out of our reach," Parkinson stated. "As we went into the summer transfer window we realised there were some astronomical fees being asked for players and not what we wanted to spend and what we felt was right for the club at this particular stage.

"But we've looked at that and gone down a different route and signed some younger players who are going to grow with the club in the next few years. We've brought in Mo, Seb [Revan], Arthur [Okonkwo], Lewis [Brunt] and Josh [Adam] has joined us - good young players who are going to improve with the club. Of course, there are teams like Birmingham and other teams who have had that spending power. That's great for them, but I'm pleased with the squad we've put together. I think there's good competition in the group, but more importantly there's a strong mentality and a togetherness."

Barcelona rejected €250 million offer from PSG for Yamal

Barcelona reportedly rejected a mammoth record-breaking bid for Lamine Yamal from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, as per agent Andy Bara.

Speaking on Podcast Inkubator, Bara said: "One thing I know for sure is that Barcelona did reject a big offer for Lamine Yamal from PSG some months ago. The deal was worth somewhere around €250 million."

Musiala turns down Bayern

Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala has reportedly turned down the club's latest contract proposal, raising questions about his future in the Bundesliga. According to the Daily Express, the 21-year-old midfielder has been in discussions with Bayern over a new deal, but the club's offer has failed to meet his expectations.

Musiala, whose current contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2026, is reportedly seeking a significant pay rise to £300,000 per week.

Chelsea might miss out on Guehi

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi is anticipated to depart the club either in the upcoming January transfer window or next summer, but a return to Chelsea appears unlikely, according to Football Insider.

Chelsea initially sold Guehi to Palace in 2021, and though they are eager to bring him back, Guéhi seems more inclined to explore offers from other clubs. Newcastle United made an attempt to sign the talented defender during the summer transfer window, but they were unable to meet Crystal Palace's substantial £75 million valuation.

Real Madrid will watch Saliba & Romero in North London derby

Arsenal & Chelsea are monitoring Stoke's Sidibe

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on Stoke City's promising youngster, Souleymane Sidibe, according to TBR Football. The 17-year-old midfielder, who made his debut for Stoke's first team last season, has been drawing attention from top Premier League clubs as his potential continues to grow.

Souleymane, the son of former Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe, has carved out his own path as a central midfielder rather than following in his father's footsteps as a forward. Born in Paris, the talented teenager has also represented England at the Under-18 level, further highlighting his versatility and skill on the field.

In addition to the interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, Midlands clubs such as Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also said to be closely monitoring Sidibe's progress.
