Arsenal or Man City hijack Spurs' Eberechi Eze bid
FootballTransfers reports that a top-four Premier League team, presumably Manchester City or Arsenal, has turned Eberechi Eze's head, and that Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of the Crystal Palace star appears to have reached a snag.
For more than a year, Spurs have been after the offensive midfield player, and the two parties even had a gentleman's agreement if Eze agreed to pay Crystal Palace's £68 million asking price. In fact, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy extended an invitation to Eze's family to attend the last North London Derby game of the previous season, which Spurs lost 3-2.
