{by} Goal.com

Kimmich keen on joining Barcelona next year

Joshua Kimmich was linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this summer, however, the German midfielder eventually stayed back at Allianz Arena. The player's contract, however, expires in June 2025 and he has yet to pen to paper on a new deal.

According to Bojan Krkic Sr – father of Barcelona's football coordinator Bojan Krkic Jr - Kimmich is looking forward to a move to the Catalan club next summer as a free agent. Speaking to Cadena SER, Krkic Sr said, "Joshua Kimmich is really looking forward to coming to Barcelona. Great German and French footballers, when you ask where they want to play, in general, they say Barcelona. Real Madrid are also an option, but in general, the footballer wants to play for Barcelona for its history, for the club, for its greatness."

Four European giants eyeing move for Musiala

Per Fichajes, four European giants Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and Arsenal are set to battle in the transfer market to secure the signature of Bayern Munich sensation Jamal Musiala.

The Bavarian club, however, is unlikely to let the player leave as they plan to initiate contract talks with the player soon to keep him at Allianz Arena on a long-term basis.

Galatasaray eyeing move for West Ham defender

Per Sabah (via Sport Witness), Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have launched a late bid to sign West Ham United left-back Emerson Palmieri. The 30-year-old full-back's current contract with the Hammers expires in 2026, however, the English club have the option to extend his stay by another year.

Man City want to sign a striker in January

Manchester City are looking for a replacement for Julian Alvarez who left the club for Atletico Madrid for a massive fee in the summer transfer window.

The Cityzens did not sign a like-for-like replacement for the Argentine in the summer, however, Football Insider claims that Pep Guardiola is now planning to sign a new forward in the next window.

Bayern Munich determined to retain Musiala

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has opened up on Jamal Musiala's future at the club who are planning to initiate talks with a player over a new contract.

Speaking to BILD, Eberl said, "Talks with Jamal Musiala will follow to get a new deal done. He should become the face of FC Bayern in the future. Jamal is a player like very, very few. His journey at FC Bayern is far from over. He wants to win titles."

Real Madrid eyeing move for Maignan

Per Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid are reportedly evaluating the opportunities to sign AC Milan and France goalkeeper Mike Maignan. Los Blancos had enquired about the Frenchman last year after Thibaut Courtois's injury and could once again renew their interest in the player whose contract with AC Milan expires in 2026.

Denis Vavro joins Wolfsburg

Slovakian defender Denis Vavro joins Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg as a free agent.

Fenerbahce won's sign Trippier

Per Rudy Galetti, Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are not interested in signing Newcastle United veteran Kieran Trippier. The England international, who is entering the final year of his contract at St James' Park was linked with a move away from the club, however, he won't moving to Turkey this summer.

Villa received 40 offers for Duran!

Damian Vidagany, Aston Villa's director of football operations, has revealed that the club received 40 offers for striker Jhon Duran this summer.

"In every team, there are two very, very important positions," he said.

"Every position is important, of course, but the keeper and the striker are two very specific positions. If you have a great keeper, the second keeper can be as good as he can be - but it's difficult to change. If you have Ollie Watkins, it's very difficult to find someone better because he is a great striker, maybe in the top two or three in the Premier League.

"Ollie is a top professional and high-quality striker. So, did Durán want to leave the club? Yes. That's normal because he wants to play. There were no fewer than 40 clubs who wanted Durán --- because everyone wanted him."

Fofana nears move to AEK Athens

Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana is on the verge of joining Greek club AEK Athens, as negotiations between the two clubs have intensified over the past 48 hours, according to The Athletic.

Fofana joined Chelsea from Norwegian side Molde in January 2023 for a reported fee of £8.4 million. Despite his potential, the young striker has made just three senior appearances for the Blues. In search of more playing time, Fofana has spent loan spells at Burnley and Union Berlin but has yet to make a lasting impact.

Huddersfield sign free agent Ladapo

Huddersfield Town have signed forward Freddie Ladapo on a two-year deal.

"I'm really happy to be here, and excited to get started and contribute to the challenge ahead," the striker said. "As a free agent you have a choice to make, but luckily for me mine wasn't a hard one once I knew how serious the interest was from Town. From the very beginning, the talks with Mark Cartwright and Michael Duff couldn't have been more positive."

Man Utd set to spend big on Eze

According to the Manchester Evening News, Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze has emerged as a prime candidate to strengthen Erik ten Hag's options on the wing following Jadon Sancho's loan departure from Chelsea and Marcus Rashford's inconsistent form.

His performances have put him firmly on United's radar, especially with a release clause of £68 million that will become active at the end of the season.

Newcastle say Trippier is not for sale

In a significant development, the four Turkish clubs vying for Kieran Trippier's loan services have decided to withdraw their efforts to persuade Newcastle United to release the defender, according to Sky Sports. As the Turkish transfer window approaches its final days, the clubs—including Istanbul Basaksehir, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and Eyupsor—had all submitted offers for the 33-year-old right-back. Despite their interest, it has become clear that Eddie Howe, Newcastle's manager, is determined to retain Trippier.

Trippier, who has featured in just over 30 minutes of Premier League action this season, was a prime target for the Turkish sides looking to bolster their squads before the transfer window closes in three days. However, Newcastle's firm stance means that Trippier will remain at St James' Park, where Howe values his contributions and experience.

Ex-Chelsea player Moses joins Luton

Victor Moses has joined Luton Town on a permanent contract.

"I'm looking forward to it," said Victor in his first interview with LTFC+.

"I had a few offers from Europe, but I said to my agent that I set my mind on staying over here, and here we are. I'm very pleased and honoured to be at this club and I just can't wait to get going. I spoke to Rob before I came, I spoke to the directors and they told me the plan and the history of the club, and I just want to be part of the success. I want to come here and enjoy my football, work hard for the club and for the team, and get back to where we belong in the Premier League."

Kelleher might leave Liverpool to become the No.1

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has hinted that his time at Liverpool may be coming to an end as he pursues his dream of becoming a first-choice goalkeeper. He currently serves as the backup to Brazilian Alisson Becker at Anfield but with the arrival of Georgian international Giorgi Mamardashvili next summer, Kelleher's future with the Reds remains uncertain.

Kelleher said: "I made it clear in the last few years, I want to go be a number one and play week in, week out. The club made the decision to get another goalkeeper. From the outside looking in, it looks like they have made a decision to go in another direction.

"My ambition has always been clear the last few seasons that I want to be a number one, playing week in week out. Sometimes from the outside looking in, it looks like it is 100 per cent my decision but at times, it is not always in my hands. My mission was to go out and play, and be a number one. It has been reported that Liverpool had rejected a few bids as well. It is not always in my hands to make the decision. My ambition is to prove I am good enough to play week in, week out."

New boss for CR7! Al-Nassr close in on Pioli

Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly be coached by Stefano Pioli at Al-Nassr after the ex-AC Milan manager's move to Al-Ittihad broke down.

Bayern view Musiala as the next Muller

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has expressed his strong desire to keep Jamal Musiala at the club for the long term, as the young star's contract is set to expire in June 2026.

Hainer, speaking about the 20-year-old attacking midfielder, drew comparisons to Bayern legend Thomas Müller, stating, "We want to try everything to keep him as long as possible. In my opinion, he could become the second Thomas Müller. He could stay here for the next 20 years."

Real Madrid & Dortmund are scouting Sunderland's Rigg

Interest in Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg is rapidly gaining momentum, with several top European clubs now viewing the 17-year-old as one of the most promising young talents on the continent. Among the clubs now tracking the young star are Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, according to TBR Football.

After signing his first professional contract with Sunderland this summer, Rigg turned down offers from Premier League heavyweights, including Newcastle United and Manchester United, opting instead to continue his development at the Stadium of Light.

Chelsea are monitoring Guehi

Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Marc Guehi to sign the defender in 2025, according to TBR Football.

Guehi is tied to Crystal Palace until 2026. However, there is growing speculation that he may not extend his stay at Selhurst Park. This uncertainty has opened the door for Chelsea, who are said to be keen on bringing him back to Stamford Bridge after his departure in 2021.

Barca waiting on De Jong & Araujo decisions

Barcelona are plotting summer moves for Joshua Kimmich and Jonathan Tah if they cannot convince Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo to stay.

The Barca pair are contracted to Barca until 2026 but they could be sold next year if they do not accept the extension offers they have been offered.
