Former Barcelona player Sergi Roberto, who bid an emotional farewell to the Catalan club this summer, joined Cesc Fabregas-managed Como. The player, who was linked with a move to West Ham in the summer has now admitted he rejected offers from the Premier League.

Speaking to Football Italia, the Spaniard said, "It's an honour to have him as a coach. He was one of the best footballers in the world, and now I can't wait to start his adventure by his side. He has just started his career, and I am sure we'll help each other in many ways.

"I had offers from Spain, the Middle East, and others from Europe, as well as Serie A and Premier, but when I spoke to Fabregas for the first time, I understood how ambitious the club was."

Liverpool determined to keep Salah at Anfield beyond this season

Per journalist Pete O'Rourke (via Football Insider), Liverpool are doing everything they can to stop Mohamed Salah from leaving Anfield at the end of the 2024/25 season.

The Egyptian, whose contract at Anfield expires in 2025, recently hinted after the Manchester United clash that this campaign could be his last with the Reds. Per Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal could consider calling back midfielder Fabio Vieira from FC Porto in June 2025. Galatasaray eye move for Arsenal's Jorginho

Per The Sun, Turkish giants Galatasaray are eyeing a move for Arsenal midfielder Jorginho and are hoping to sign him before the transfer window in Turkey closes on Friday.

Jorginho is yet to get any game time in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign and with Mikel Merino's arrival this summer, it is unlikely that the Italian would feature regularly at the Emirates Stadium this year. The midfielder is entering the final year of his contract and it remains to be seen if Mikel Arteta would sanction a move for the player before Friday.
