Forest sign Ward-Prowse on loan from West Ham

Nottingham Forest have signed James Ward-Prowse from West Ham United on a season-long loan deal.

Ward-Prowse said: "I'm delighted to be here. When I knew I had the opportunity to join the Club and come and show what I can do, I thought it was a fantastic opportunity. Having played Nottingham Forest a few times, the atmosphere here is one of the best I've played in in the Premier League, so to now hopefully experience that week in, week out is something really special."

Forest secure Morato from Benfica

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the acquisition of defender Morato from Benfica. The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Forest, committing to the club until the summer of 2029.

During the previous season, he made 35 appearances for the Portuguese giants across all competitions, including five matches in the UEFA Champions League.

Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson said: "Morato has been in our thoughts and discussions to come into the squad for several transfer windows, and we're delighted to have him join us today. We're sure he'll feel at home here in Nottingham and he will quickly become embedded and integrated as part of the squad."

Nketiah joins Palace on a five-year deal

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal in a £25m plus £5m (add-ons) deal, with the England international joining the Eagles on a five-year contract. Nketiah, who grew up in Deptford, South London, makes a return to his roots as he brings a wealth of experience and a proven scoring record to Selhurst Park.

During his tenure at Arsenal, Nketiah scored 38 goals in 168 appearances. He is the fifth new addition to Crystal Palace's squad this summer, following the arrivals of Chadi Riad, Daichi Kamada, Ismaïla Sarr, and Maxence Lacroix. He will don the No. 9 shirt for the Eagles.

Nketiah said: "It's amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I'm excited to get going. Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it's good to be back home."

Chairman Steve Parish said: "It's brilliant to welcome Eddie, a senior England international, back to South London – we are delighted he has signed for Crystal Palace. I am confident that his energy, talent and hunger to succeed will endear him to his new teammates and supporters alike."

Wolves sign Andre from Fluminese

Wolves sign Fluminese midfielder Andre in the final hour on deadline day.

Sporting director Matt Hobbs said: "It feels like a long time in the making. He's got the same agent as Joao Gomes and is a player we talked about when we did Joao. We hadn't been in a financial position in other windows to do it, when we were interested. It's one that I thought we were going to miss out on, so I'm unbelievably excited to have him come and join us.

"He works hard, wins his tackles and picks up second balls. He's physically good and we think he'll thrive in the Premier League, similar to how Joao has. Our midfield now feels like a real strength of ours. I want the fans to be excited about it, but remember when Joao came across, he had six months to sit under Mario and Ruben and get used to the country and the Premier League with minutes off the bench. We've got to give players the time to settle."
