Liverpool youngster Bobby Clark is reportedly getting closer to leaving Anfield as he is expected to sign with Red Bull Salzburg. According to the Liverpool Echo, he has personal agreements with the Austrian team and will join for a £10 million transfer fee, pending a physical.

Newcastle preparing bid for Barcelona's Ferran Torres

According to Football Insider, Newcastle intends to submit a second proposal for Barcelona striker Ferran Torres in the near future. Barcelona reportedly turned down the Magpies' initial bid earlier this week, according to reports. They are reportedly preparing a "pleasant" offer in the hopes of luring the Catalan powerhouses into a commercial deal.

Napoli pushing for Man Utd's Scott McTominay

Scott McTominay has reportedly told Napoli manager Antonio Conte that he wants to move to the Serie A side this summer. The Manchester United midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, with Fulham seeing several bids for the Scotland international.

Napoli are also keen to sign McTominay and Italian newspaper La Repubblica report that the player is hoping that an agreement can be reached for him to head to Italy.

Thomas Frank opens up on Ivan Toney omission

Ivan Toney had been left out of Brentford's squad to face Crystal Palace this afternoon. The striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the Gtech Community Stadium this summer and a decision has been made for him to be omitted from the team until his future becomes clear.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank told Sky Sports: "A lot of things are going on with Ivan. There is some transfer interest and so we decided not to involve him in the squad. I can't give too much away... There is interest, but a deal is not closed."

Frenkie de Jong will remain with Barcelona

Sky Sports Germany claims that Frenkie de Jong is expected to remain at Barcelona for the season. In recent weeks, the Netherlands international has been strongly linked to a move away from Camp Nou, with some even suggesting that he may be trying to get the club to cancel his contract.

Barca, however, do not want to entertain offers for De Jong and instead plans to keep the midfield player on staff. According to reports, Hansi Flick is "counting" on the former Ajax player for the near and distant future.

Manchester City have reportedly set a deadline for Pep Guardiola to make a decision about his future at the Etihad Stadium, according to Sky Sports. The club will reportedly request that Guardiola informs the club of his decision by Christmas so that City can look for a suitable replacement for the former Barcelona coach, in case he decides against signing a new deal.
