Frenkie de Jong will remain with Barcelona

Sky Sports Germany claims that Frenkie de Jong is expected to remain at Barcelona for the season. In recent weeks, the Netherlands international has been strongly linked to a move away from Camp Nou, with some even suggesting that he may be trying to get the club to cancel his contract.

Barca, however, do not want to entertain offers for De Jong and instead plans to keep the midfield player on staff. According to reports, Hansi Flick is "counting" on the former Ajax player for the near and distant future.

Zaha unlikely to rejoin Crystal Palace

Manchester City have reportedly set a deadline for Pep Guardiola to make a decision about his future at the Etihad Stadium, according to Sky Sports. Speaking to Sky Sports, Rolfes said, "In life, you can rarely rule things out, but at the moment, there is nothing that makes me believe he won't be a player for Bayer 04 this season as well. That is our starting point. He is an important player for us, for the team, for the coach. At the moment, that's the situation. We are also happy that Jona remains an important player for us."
