Manchester United could confirm their third and fourth high-profile transfers of the summer within days, with two medicals reportedly pencilled in at the club's Carrington training base. Erik ten Hag looks set to add at least one more player to his squad before United's season gets underway next weekend.
The Red Devils will battle for a record-extending 21st Community Shield when they face Manchester City at Wembley in a rematch of May's victorious FA Cup final.
But with less than a month of the summer transfer window remaining, INEOS are busy attempting to add to the first two signings of their regime.
In July, Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Lille centre-back Leny Yoro arrived for a combined £88.5million, replacing out-of-contract duo Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial.
After a couple of weeks without further deals, United now appear primed to add to the incomings in time for the new season.
According to Foot Mercato, Noussair Mazraoui will travel to Manchester to complete his switch from Bayern Munich in the coming days.
The 26-year-old right-back will reportedly undergo his medical on Tuesday before signing a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
But he's not the only new arrival that could be confirmed next week, with highly-rated teenager Chido Obi Martin also on the verge of sealing his move.
Sky Sports report that the 16-year-old is also set for a medical within days after deciding to leave Arsenal at the expiry of his contract.
Obi Martin was one of the most sought-after academy talents in Europe and rejected higher financial offers from Germany to opt for United.
The 6ft 2in striker joined Arsenal as a 14-year-old from Danish club KB - based in his hometown, Copenhagen. He has represented England and Denmark at youth level.
Obi Martin made headlines last season by netting 10 times in a single match against Liverpool for Arsenal's U16s. He also scored 32 goals in 20 league games for the U18s.
His incredible season included four-goal hauls against Crystal Palace and Fulham, five against West Ham United and seven in a 9-0 win over Norwich City.
