The new Premier League season is edging ever closer and title hopefuls Arsenal are stepping up their summer business ahead of the big kick-off. Tottenham keen on Solanke
Tottenham are considering a move for Dominic Solanke.
The striker shone for Bournemouth last season, scoring 19 goals in the Premier League.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Spurs are interested in Solanke, but have not yet made a formal bid.
Bournemouth view the 26-year-old as a key player, so it will not be easy to agree a deal.
Summerville closes in on West Ham move
Crysencio Summerville has completed the first part of his West Ham.
It's believed that a £25m fee has been agreed for the Leeds winger, with the Hammers hoping Summerville could play some part in the USA pre-season tour.
Sky Sports report that the 22-year-old will undergo the final part of his medical tomorrow.
West Ham target leaves training to discuss move
West Ham target Oumar Solet is set to leave RB Salzburg.
Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten reveal the French defender has been allowed to leave his club's training base to complete a move to an unnamed club.
The Hammers and Villarreal have both been touted as potential destinations for Solet, who was said to be a target for Liverpool in January.
New club comes in for David De Gea
David De Gea is still without a club, over a year after leaving Manchester United.
Fiorentina are the latest club to have enquired about signing the goalkeeper, as reported by transfer journalist Matteo Moretto.
De Gea is yet to make a decision amid links with Genoa, Celtic and Saudi Arabia.

Lazio chief pleased to have lost Mason Greenwood race
Lazio sporting director Angelo Fabiani has explained why his club didn't sign Mason Greenwood.
The former Manchester United striker joined Marseille last month after a year on loan at Getafe, having been told he could no longer play for United due to his much-publicised assault accusations. Greenwood denied them and police charges were dropped in 2023.
"We wanted Greenwood last year, then there was a hitch with the player - you all know what Greenwood's problem was," he told Lazio club media.
"An agent this year approached us with the idea of Greenwood moving to Italy. We gave him a deadline, from there an auction was unleashed and I thought I could go up to a certain limit.
"We offered £22m for 50 per cent of the player, we're talking about €26m.
"He preferred to take another path and I say that the best deals are those that aren't made. I want [Nicolo] Rovella, [Mattia] Zaccagni, players who love the environment where they work.
"I don't want these mercenaries, it's lucky not to make certain deals. I could sell myself for €50,000 more but I have values that my parents passed on to me.
"If he's taken another path, we wish Greenwood the best of luck."
Real Sociedad prepare for life without Arsenal target Mikel Merino
Real Sociedad have identified their ideal replacement for Mikel Merino.
According to Relevo, Carlos Soler of PSG is in talks to sign for the LaLiga club.
Personal terms are being negotiated with a transfer fee then on the agenda, although Les Parisiens are said to be very open to the sale.
Merino has reportedly told Real Sociedad he wants to join Arsenal as discussions over his price continue.
Gleison Bremer release clause to expire
Liverpool and Manchester United are set to sit tight on Gleison Bremer despite his release clause expiring this month.
The Juventus defender is said by Corriere dello Sport to be happy to stay in Turin and no official offers have landed from the Premier League duo, despite their interest.
Bremer would cost £51m, 10 per cent of which would be owed to former club Torino, on a clause which is only valid to August 10.
Emerson Royal deal to go through this weekend
Emerson Royal could arrive in Italy this weekend to undergo a medical and complete his move to AC Milan.
According to SportMediaSet, the Rossoneri are nearing a deal with Tottenham to sign the Brazilian for £12.5m plus £2.5m in add-ons.

Dani Olmo nears Barcelona switch
Barcelona are set to beat Man City to the signing of Dani Olmo.
Reports from earlier in the summer that City will sign the Spaniard from RB Leipzig have gone cold and Fabrizio Romano says Barcelona have launched an offer worth £42m, with £13m in add-ons.
Olmo is said to be keen on the move and Leipzig are considering the proposal.
It is claimed that Barcelona would then make Vitor Roque available for sale only a few months after the teenager's £26m arrival.
