Liverpool eyeing move for West Ham's Kudus

Liverpool have shown interest in signing West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus in the ongoing summer transfer window, according to Claret & Hugh.

The Reds have reportedly initiated talks with the Hammers over a possible transfer of the player in a deal worth £85m which was the player's buyout clause in his contract, however, the clause reportedly expired on July 2 this year.

Barcelona extend Bernal's stay until 2026

Barcelona announced on Wednesday that they have decided to extend the stay of U19 star Marc Bernal until 2026. The official statement from the club read, "FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with the player Marc Bernal to update his contract which will tie him to the Club until 30 June 2026, the end of his eligibility for the U19 squad. The Catalan midfielder renewed his contract when he joined the U19s and now the deal has been extended after a season in which he was involved with the Barça Atlètic squad. Currently, the player is training in preseason with Hansi Flick's first-team squad. The official signing of the contract will come at a future date."
