Wrexham's McNicholas leaves on loan

Wrexham goalkeeper Luke McNicholas has formally joined Rochdale FC on loan ahead of the 2024/25 season, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

The official statement from Rochdale read, "Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Luke McNicholas. The 24-year-old joins on a season-long loan from League One side Wrexham.

Lukaku could join Napoli if Osimhen leaves this summer

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku is keen on joining Napoli this summer provided Victor Osimhen leaves the club.

Both Lukaku and manager Antonio Conte are keen on working with each other once again and Napoli are expected to initiate talks with the Blues if and when Osimhen departs.

Al-Ittihad want to sign Chelsea outcast Kepa

Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad have reportedly submitted an official bid to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea this summer, according to Rudy Galetti.

The Saudi side are reportedly offering a salary of €7m per year to the Spaniard. They are currently in talks with the Blues and are waiting for the custodian's response.

Real Madrid eyeing move for Alexander-Arnold

Per journalist Christian Falk, Real Madrid have reportedly shown interest in signing Liverpool star and defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in the future.

The England full-back's current contract with the Reds expires in 2025 and he is yet to sign a new contract extension. The player reportedly is interested in making the switch to La Liga.

Al-Nassr no longer interested in Ederson

Per Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr are no longer interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson after they saw their €30m proposal rejected by the English giants. The Saudi club have now reportedly shifted their focus on Athletico Paranaense and Brazil custodian Bento.

Newcastle CEO opens up about Howe's link to England job

Following Gareth Southgate's resignation as England boss, Newcastle United's Eddie Howe has been installed as one of the favourites to replace him.

Recently Magpies CEO Darren Eales opened up about their manager's link with the England job as he told The Athletic, "Yes. I don't want to speak on hypotheticals so let me just step back and go, going into a new season, for us as a club Eddie has done a brilliant job. I've had the blessing to be able to work with Eddie and see how day-to-day and in terms of that man-management, on the grass, he is very hands-on. He's a great developer of players. He gets the psyche of the club and Newcastle and the fans. We've seen that with the way the team and the supporters have that affinity.

"For us, he is exactly the right man for the project we are on at Newcastle United and that is why we are committed to a long-term deal with him. That's why we think he's the right man for Newcastle. We love him."

Bayern director opens up on Davies' future

Bayern Munich director Christoph Freund recently opened up about the future of Real Madrid-linked Canadian defender Alphonso Davies.

Speaking to reporters, Freund said, "Talks have taken place but have not yet led to an agreement. The door is certainly not closed. We'll see what the next few months will bring."

Marseille close to signing Man Utd outcast Greenwood
