England are set to face Spain in the Euro 2024 final but the German press are not happy about it.

The German press have claimed that England have ‘cheated’ their way to the final of Euro 2024 just days before the big showdown at the Olympiastadion.
The Three Lions head to Berlin on Sunday with the hope of ending their long-running trophy drought, though they will have to see off the challenge of Spain for that dream to become a reality.
Gareth Southgate’s side have somewhat failed upwards throughout the tournament so far, relying on moments of magic to paper over the cracks of disappointing performances. They have included Jude Bellingham’s late equaliser against Switzerland and Ollie Watkins’ 91st-minute winner in the semi-final.
England’s win over the Netherlands in midweek was not short of controversy though, with Harry Kane equalising from the penalty spot in the first half after he collided with Denzel Dumfries inside the penalty area. VAR advised a review of the incident, prompting referee Felix Zwayer to point to the spot.
The decision did not go down well with the Dutch, and the German media also appeared to be angered by the verdict.
German news outlet BILD labelled England as cheats when previewing the final ahead of Sunday, writing on their website: “Only two days left until the 17th European Championship final between Spain and England will take place in Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
"The signs on Sunday are clear: While the British cheated their way into the final, the Spanish impressed throughout the entire tournament."
They added: “The team that plays the most beautiful football against the team that plays the most pragmatic football."

Given that Germany were dumped out of the tournament on home soil by Spain, some will be surprised that their media are on the side of Luis de la Fuente’s team – especially as some of the German players felt that they should have been awarded a penalty during their quarter-final clash.
Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella appeared to block Jamal Musiala’s strike with his outstretched hand late during the contest, but VAR ruled that a review of the incident was not required as the referee, Anthony Taylor, had made the correct decision in not pointing to the spot.
