Man Utd targeting a move for Xavi Simons
Manchester United are targeting a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Xavi Simons this summer as the Dutchman wants to leave the Parisiens as per The Sun.
Leipzig, along with rival German teams Bayern Munich and United, are one of three clubs expressing a keen interest. Simons' future at PSG is still out in the air, but considering his desire for regular playing time, it seems likely that the 21-year-old will leave the Parc de Princes this summer.
PSG offer €200m for Napoli duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia & Victor Osimhen
Paris Saint-Germain have made a bid worth €200 million (£168m/$217m) for Napoli duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen.
Per Corriere dello Sport, PSG have made a huge bid to sign both Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen but the former is not for sale. Antonio Conte, Napoli's new boss, is insistent that the Georgia international stays at the club, but Osimhen could potentially move on if a reasonable bid is tabled. The Nigeria star has a release clause worth €130m (£109m/$141m) and Napoli are willing to allow him to move.
Matthijs de Ligt keen to join Man Utd from Bayern
Bayern Munich's Matthijs de Ligt is keen on a reunion with Erik ten Hag, however, Manchester United are reportedly holding up the deal.
Per Sky Germany, De Ligt has decided that he definitely wants to move to Old Trafford this summer to reunite with Ten Hag. He worked under the United boss at Ajax during the famous 2018-19 season. As per the report, Bayern have set an asking price of €50 million (£42m/$54m) and with agreements having already been reached with De Ligt by the Red Devils, all that remains is for United to reach Bayern's expectations. Sky expects the agreement to be reached within the next few days, but a medical is yet to be scheduled.
Kingsley Coman considering France retirement
France winger Kingsley Coman is considering retirement after his dismal spell at Euro 2024, according to a new report.
Coman struggled to make any inroads into Didier Deschamps' squad at Euro 2024 and was reduced to a 15-minute cameo against Netherlands in the group stages. And L'Equipe now reports that the Bayern Munich winger is considering hanging up his boots at international level at the age of 28, having battled back from a hamstring injury to take his place in the squad.

Dortmund find issues with Serhou Guirassy's medical
Dortmund have been closing in on a deal to sign Serhou Guirassy for a fee of €18 million (£15m/$20m) from Stuttgart and the striker was poised to undergo his medical and complete the formalities of his move, having beaten competition from Manchester United and Bayern Munich. However, Dortmund have now announced that there has been a snag when it comes to securing his signature.
Dortmund posted on X: "During a medical examination of Serhou Guirassy, an injury was discovered that requires further investigation."
Ruud van Nistelrooy joins Man Utd alongisde Rene Hake
Ruud van Nistelrooy has joined Manchester United's coaching staff as one of Erik ten Hag's new assistants.
The much-loved striker returns to the Red Devils for the first time since departing in 2006. He is part of Ten Hag's restructuring of his coaching staff after signing a new contract until 2026. Van Nistelrooy and fellow Dutchman Rene Hake have signed two-year deals.
