According to Rudy Galetti, AC Milan are no longer interested in signing Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee as the wage demanded by the player's agent is too high for the Serie A giants. With the Italians out of the race now, Manchester United are the first favourites to sign the striker.

Southampton confirmed on Tuesday that manager Russell Martin has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract thereby extending his stay at the club until 2027.

The fresh deal, which runs until the summer of 2027, comes after Martin led the side to promotion from the Championship at the first attempt, securing the club’s return to the Premier League on an unforgettable day at Wembley Stadium in May.
