Mourinho insist on signing Lukaku at Fenerbahce

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could be well set for a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The 31-year-old forward is on the market, with Chelsea seeking an offer of around €43 million for his transfer.

Lukaku had a productive loan spell at AS Roma last season, netting 13 goals in 32 Serie A appearances. His performance has kept him in demand, with Napoli's new manager Antonio Conte also reportedly interested in bringing the Belgian striker back to Italy.

The Blues are eager to offload Lukaku to alleviate their wage bill and are open to offers from various clubs. While the prospect of a move to Fenerbahce or Saudi Arabia remains, the possibility of Lukaku continuing in Serie A under Conte's management at Napoli adds another dimension to the transfer saga.
