Greenwood provides update on his future
Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood has provided an update on his future after his season-long loan deal at Getafe came to an end on Sunday.
After playing the final game of the season against Mallorca, Greenwood took to Instagram where he wrote, "Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season, Thank you for making me feel welcomed and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my teammates and club. A bitter-sweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best."
Spurs eyeing move for Middlesbrough midfielder
Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney in the upcoming summer window, according to The Northern Echo.
The Premier League club have been scouting the 21-year-old since the 2022/23 season. Hackney suffered an injury and missed the final three months of the season for his club, however, that has not impacted Spurs' interest in the player.
Aston Villa set to offer three-year deal to Barkley
According to the Daily Mail, Aston Villa have offered a three-year deal to Luton Town and former Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkey.
Barkley joined Luton last summer after the club gained promotion to the Premier League, however, as the Hatters are now back in the Championship after just one season at the top flight, Barkley is considering moving out of the club.
Man Utd confirm Fernandez has joined Benfica
Premier League giants Manchester United have confirmed that Alvaro Fernandez has completed a permanent transfer to Benfica after spending the last six months on loan with the Portuguese side.
The official statement from United read, "Alvaro Fernandez has joined Portuguese giants Benfica on a permanent deal. The Eagles have exercised the option to purchase the player on a permanent basis after he spent the second half of the season on loan at Estadio da Luz."
Hansi Flick close to joining Barcelona
The Catalan giants and the German manager have an agreement in place as Hansi Flick is all set to sign a two-year deal with the club. Barcelona are expected to make the appointment official in the coming week, according to Fabrizio Romano.
