Liverpool eyeing move for Leverkusen's Kossounou

Liverpool are all set to compete with Manchester United to secure the signature of Bayer Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou in the summer, according to Caughtoffside.

The report claims several other European clubs including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also keen on signing the 23-year-old, however, the Reds are currently in pole position to sign him.

Inter star Lautaro Martinez revealed that he is yet to sign a new deal with the Serie A champions, however, he expects to reach an agreement in the coming week.

Speaking to DAZN (via Fabrizio Romano), the forward said, "I don't know what's gonna happen. This upcoming week we [club and player side] have to find an agreement."

Pochettino refused to speak on his future

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino did not give away any concrete answer when asked about his future at Stamford Bridge after the Blues played their final game of the season on Sunday.
