Bayern closing in on appointing next manager

According to Christian Falk, Bayern Munich have held concrete talks over appointing a new manager for the club who will replace outgoing Thomas Tuchel ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The Bavarian club's sporting director Max Eberl is keen on appointing Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi while their former coach Hansi Flick has also been included in the shortlist.

Newcastle set to beat Chelsea to the signing of Fulham star

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are leading the race to sign Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Magpies have held talks with the player's agent in recent weeks and are confident of landing him despite interest from Premier League giants Chelsea.

Silva and De Bruyne could leave Man City in the summer

According to Rudy Galetti, two Manchester City stars Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne could leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in the Portugal international while Kevin De Buryne continue to attract interest from the Saudi Pro League. Clubs from Saudi Arabia are reportedly ready to offer £100m for the 32-year-old midfielder.

Liverpool identify Salah's replacement

According to the Daily Star, Liverpool are keeping tabs on England winger Anthony Gordon but the 23-year-old Newcastle United star will reportedly cost close to £100 million.

With the possibility of Mohamed Salah leaving Anfield in the summer, the Reds consider Gordon to be a possible replacement for the Egyptian star.

Wrexham have been handed a positive boost going into the summer as they look to sign Arsenal loanee Arthur Okonkwo on a permanent deal.

Manager Phil Parkinson has already clarified that the club intend to sign the 22-year-old goalkeeper permanently this summer as they head into the third tier of English football. As per The Mirror, the Wrexham target, whose contract ends this summer, will not receive a contract extension from the Gunners. The decision will now open up the path for the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned club to sign their primary target as they target a third straight promotion next season.

Revealed: Ramsdale one of seven stars Arsenal may axe

Arsenal are keen to offload up to seven first-team players ahead of the 2024-25 season including out of favour goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

According to The Mirror, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson are all surplus to requirements alongside Ramsdale. Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny and Arthur Okonkwo are also expected to depart when their contracts expire on June 1. The report goes on to add that Arsenal are willing to back Arteta again following a significant spend on the likes of Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz last summer.

Agent reveals when decision will be made on Modric's future

Luka Modric's time at Real Madrid may finally be coming to an end after his agent revealed plans for the Croatian's future.

Modric's agent recently revealed that nothing has been decided yet regarding the 38-year-old's future. He said: "So far there is nothing clear about Modric's future with Real Madrid. Next week things will be clearer for us. Real Madrid is Modric's homeland and together we will decide what is best."

Bayern Munich are reportedly targeting AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez as a replacement for Alphonso Davies this summer.

Davies continues to toy with a move to Spain with Real Madrid, and as such, the Bavarians have begun looking for potential replacements this summer. As per Sky Germany, one of the names at the top of the list is Hernandez and the German giants have begun talks with the Rossoneri but are yet to start negotiations. As per the report, Hernandez could cost the Germans upwards of €60 million (£51.8m/$64.7m).
