Peterborough Women's star Tara Kirk looks set to raise Posh a small windfall with her match-worn shirt up for sale and already going for a lot more money than the rest of her team-mates

Stunning social media sensation and footballer Tara Mae Kirk's match worn shirt looks set to fetch a pretty penny.
Kirk, 20, is no stranger to going viral on social media whenever she finds the back of the net for Peterborough Women. And the Posh will cash in on her fame as the squad's match-worn shirts, from their clash with Leafield Athletic, have been sent to auction.
Football fans can now bid on the shirts from the 1-1 draw, and Kirk's shirt is currently going for almost £300 more than the rest. Kirk's kit, as of Wednesday (May 8), has a bid of £350 and fans are predicting it will reach even higher before the auction closes.
The two closest shirts to Kirk are Niamh Connor and fellow goal-getter Kier Perkins - both with £99 bids. One fan responded on X: "We're going to be the richest club outside of the Prem after this!"
"Kirk's jersey about to pull astronomical numbers man," a second said. A third added: "Tara Kirk making the club thousands by the end of this!" And a fourth said: "I'll pay any amount for Kirk's shirt..."

Posh Women play in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands - the fourth tier of women's football. And they are currently third after the 1-1 draw with Leafield Athletic.
Only one team can earn promotion to the third tier - Sporting Khalsa and Loughborough Lightning are currently locked at the top of the table, both on 53 points. Posh are nine points adrift, but they have a game in hand.
Former Leicester striker Kirk has netted 10 goals this season, and speaking about her own game, she said: "I'm quick off the mark, quite sneaky inside the box and unpredictable, but my main aim when I'm on the pitch is to find the back of the net."
She had fans joking she should win the Puskas award late last year after one particular strike against Lincoln City.
However, as only a semi-pro footballer Kirk also has a second job and she works in event management - gaining her qualification at Champions UK PLC.
She recently graduated from Loughborough University with a BTEC in business, management, marketing and retailed support services.
