Real Madrid plot shock transfer for Man Utd star

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United starlet Kobbie Mainoo as they are plotting a shock move for the midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to the Express.

With veteran players like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos' contracts set to expire in the summer, Los Blancos will start looking for their alternatives and have reportedly shortlisted the name of the in-form Red Devils star.

Felix wants to stay at Barca beyond the current season

Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix has reiterated his wish to stay back at Barcelona beyond the current 2023/24 season.

Speaking to Catalunya Radio, the forward said, "I'm very happy in Barcelona. I love the city, the people, the club. My position is clear. The dressing room is also incredible, I really hope to stay at the club beyond this season."

PSG remain interested in signing Barca's Gavi

L'Equipe reports that Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in signing Barcelona and Spain midfielder Gavi in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old's current deal with Barcelona expires in 2026 and has a massive release clause of €1 billion (£858m/$1.1bn) in his contract.

Man City closing in on signing Paqueta

According to Foot Mercato, Manchester City have reportedly agreed personal terms with West Ham attacker Lucas Paqueta as they prepare to sign him in the next transfer window.

The Cityzens attempted to sign the midfielder from the east London team last summer, but they pulled out of the reported £85 million deal because an investigation into alleged betting breaches was opened up by the Football Association (FA).

Liverpool expecting fresh bid for Salah

According to talkSPORT, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad are prepared to offer £70m ($89m) for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah in the summer.

The Egypt international was the subject of sizeable bids from the Saudi Pro League last year, with Al-Ittihad said to have made an offer worth at least £80 million ($100m) for the player.

Juventus add Conte and Motta to their managerial shortlist

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Juventus have put Antonio Conte and Bologna boss Thiago Motta on their managerial shortlist as they look to replace Massimiliano Allegri in the summer.

Motta is also being chased by Barcelona and Manchester United, although, a section of the Juventus board wants Conte to be re-appointed.

Juventus closing in on signing former West Ham star

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are inching closer to securing the signature of Lazio and former West Ham attacker Felipe Anderson as a free agent next season. The club are in the final stage of preparing a formal offer for the player and a verbal agreement will be reached soon.

Liverpool closing in on roping in Ruben Amorim

According to journalist Pedro Sepulveda, Liverpool met Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim to discuss the final terms of his contract with the Anfield club. However, the Merseyside club have made no contact with Sporting so far.

West Ham eyeing move for USMNT defender

West Ham United are set to push for 25-year-old centre-back Mark McKenzie in the summer, according to Belgian media personality Sacha Tavolieri. McKenzie was recently called into the USMNT squad for the CONCACAF Nations League finals in March.

Real Madrid's Rodrygo explains why he snubbed Liverpool

Real Madrid star Rodrygo has explained why, back in 2017, he rejected the opportunity to join Liverpool in a bargain €3 million transfer.

"We didn't close the deal because I didn’t want to. I wanted to stay at Santos even though the offer was very good. The pathway they promised me would also have been very good for my career. I was going to finish my studies in England to prepare for European football. It had always been my dream to play in Europe. Everything was very good, but my desire spoke louder. I wanted to stay at Santos and make a bit of history at the club. And that’s what happened: I was able to fulfil my dream of playing for Santos. But it’s true, I almost went to Liverpool."

Christian Pulisic set to recieve new AC Milan contract

Christian Pulisic is reportedly already in line to see his contract extended at AC Milan, with a clause in his current deal about to be triggered.

The United States international only moved to San Siro in the summer of 2023. The €20 million (£17m/$22m) paid out to lure him away from Chelsea is being made to look like quite the bargain, with Pulisic posting personal bests during his debut campaign in Italy.

Corriere dello Sport claims that the Rossoneri are preparing to extend Pulisic’s deal. His contract is due to run until 2027, but there is the option for a further 12 months within those terms. Milan are ready to activate that clause and keep the 25-year-old on their books until at least 2028.
