Premier League WAG Diletta Leotta has pleaded for her fiancé Loris Karius to leave Newcastle.
Leotta is one of Italy's most well-known football presenters, hosting DAZN and interviewing some of the sport's biggest stars. Diletta, 32, formed a relationship with former Liverpool ace Karius in 2022 and gave birth to their daughter in August last year.
The German goalkeeper is currently on the books at Newcastle as the Magpies' third-choice goalkeeper, meaning he lives in England and away from his family. The couple's respective jobs keep them apart for long periods and they have to resort to jetting across Europe whenever they have free time.
Now Karius' wife-to-be, who lives in Milan with their child Aria, has voiced her frustration towards the "inconvenient" transport links separating them. And she urged her partner to join them in Italy once his contract ends this summer.
She told Tuttosport: "Loris has people at his side who work for him. I live in Milan, so let's say being close to Milan would be ideal for us.
"I always tell him, players who come to Serie A then fall in love with Italy and often stay there forever. I think that could happen to him too.
"[He should join] Monza or any other team in Italy. I would be happy if he came to Italy to play near his family. Newcastle is very inconvenient because there are no direct flights. Neither about Paris nor about Amsterdam."
Karius, 30, signed for Newcastle in September 2022, making his first appearance in February 2023 in a Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester United. He has since played just one game across all competitions this season, stepping in for a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal.
Things appeared to be going far more swimmingly for Karius off the pitch before Diletta's public show of disapproval. The blonde bombshell TV presenter regularly shares romantic snaps of her with her footballer beau.
She is a firm favourite of football fans around the world with a whopping 9 million Instagram followers as a result of her stunning looks. And she may soon get her wish, with Italian minnows Monza reportedly showing interest in acquiring Karius' services.
