Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah said manager Jurgen Klopp's planned departure from Anfield this summer will not impact his future at the club.
In an interview with Sky Sports ahead of Sunday's clash against title rivals Manchester City, Salah said when asked whether Klopp's exit would prompt his own: "No. It's part of life now, that everything moves. Players have left already, very important players. The manager is also very important for the club and is leaving.
"One day I will leave the club, but [Klopp's departure doesn't affect my future]."
ESPN reported in September that Salah had been the subject of an offer worth up to £150 million ($190m) from Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, which Liverpool swiftly rejected.
Salah is under contract at Liverpool until June 2025.
Mohamed Salah has helped Liverpool to a multitude of trophies under Jurgen Klopp.
The Egypt international said he was stunned when Klopp announced in a team meeting in January that he would be leaving, instead believing Klopp would announce he would be extending his stay.
"The manager's agent was there at the training ground and I thought: 'Oh, he's renewing his contract,'" Salah said. "Five minutes before the meeting, Virgil [van Dijk] said: 'Do you know what the meeting is about?' [I] said no. He said: 'The manager is leaving.'"
Salah, who has 205 goals in 334 games for Liverpool, has been instrumental in the club's success under Klopp, helping the club win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and two Carabao Cups.
