Chelsea have identified Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as a target for the summer, according to Bild.
Boniface, 23, has 10 goals and seven assists in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season and the Nigeria international's transfer is reportedly valued at around €40m, given he has a contract until 2028.
The Blues have been linked with Boniface's Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen, but Napoli want his release clause of €130m paid in full to let him go. Ivan Toney of Brentford is also on their shortlist, but his move would cost around €80m.
Chelsea need to watch their financial situation after spending over €1 billion across the last three transfer windows, and could be on the lookout for cheaper options.
