Saudi Pro League teams are set to make another move for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah after failing during the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Saudi Pro League teams are eyeing another attempt to sign the Egyptian international next summer, with Salah being viewed as an even more important target than Cristiano Ronaldo was for the league.
WHAT KLOPP SAID
Speaking back in September, when Salah was being heavily linked with a move to the Middle East while their transfer window was still open, Jurgen Klopp commented on the rumours, saying: "Nobody came to me and told me something could happen or whatever. I'm pretty sure I would have got a call but I didn't. And Mo didn't look for a second like he thought about anything else other than about Aston Villa.
"He has unbelievable numbers but it's not a surprise that he has the numbers. And he had chances on top of that, and involved in creating and setting up and all these kind of things. He's a world-class player, no doubt about that. And I'm really pleased he is in my team."

Al-Ittihad, who completed the signing of former Liverpool midfielder Fabinho during the summer, held a strong interest in Salah during the transfer window. A bid in the region of £200 million ($253m) was reportedly made, with Liverpool quickly rebuffing the offer in order to keep hold of their star man for the 2023-24 campaign.

Despite his future at Anfield currently appearing uncertain, Salah will focus on what he can control on the pitch as he eyes a second Premier League trophy with the Reds this season. Liverpool currently sit at the top of the Premier League table, as they prepare to face Erik ten Hag's Manchester United team on Sunday.
