With the January transfer window now firmly on the horizon, Arsenal are one of many Premier League clubs to start thinking about their transfer business

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey could be put on the market in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been limited to four Premier League appearances due to an injury ravaged start to the new season for Mikel Arteta's side. However, unlike previous years, his absence has been less felt due to the excellent performances of £104million summer signing Declan Rice.
When Partey has been used, he has been shafted out wide as a makeshift right-back, such has been the dominance of the ex-West Ham United captain. With the 30-year-old's importance seemingly dwindling with every passing week, reports are claiming he could be sold by the current Premier League leaders.
According to ESPN, Partey is being earmarked as somebody who could be sold as a means for raising funds in the January transfer window. Italian giants Juventus reportedly held talks with the former Atletico Madrid midfielder's representatives last month.
While injuries are set to keep him out until after the New Year, he is also expected to fly out to the Ivory Coast for the 2023-24 Africa Cup of Nations. Arteta is also believed to be interested in refreshing his squad, who will likely need to free up some space and some funds before they go into the market.

Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is reported to be their No1 transfer target. The Gunners thought they had sealed a move for the Brazilian international in the 2022 summer transfer window, but talks between the two Premier League giants broke down in the eleventh hour.
Arsenal have also been linked with Brentford and England striker Ivan Toney, who has been serving an FA suspension for breaching betting rules. As well as the ex-Peterborough United striker, Wolves' dynamic winger Pedro Neto is also a purported target for the north Londoners.
However, the Portuguese international is believed to be valued at around £60m by Gary O'Neil's side. As well as Rice, Arsenal also signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea, David Raya on loan from Brentford and Jurrien Timber from Ajax in the summer.
They did manage to make some room in their squad by selling the likes of Folarin Balogun, Granit Xhaka, Matt Turner, Auston Trusty and Pablo Mari, while also loaning Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos.
