Ex-England international Patrick Bamford has named Julia Roberts as his 'ideal date'.
The Leeds United star's England career was limited to 62 minutes in a game with Andorra in 2021 - which England won 4-0. Marcelo Bielsa's Peacocks were in their pomp when Bamford received his cap, but they have since been relegated back to the Championship.
And Bamford has instead spent his international break talking about his dream date. Speaking to Joe Wilkinson on the ‘My Mate’s A Footballer’ he was asked the question, and responded quickly: "Julia Roberts!"
And Wilkinson responded: "That was quick... If I was you, I'd have popped a pause in!"
One person that might not be too happy with the comment is Bamford’s jaw-dropping WAG Michaela Ireland. Michaela is a model, but clearly puts her family first with her Instagram filled with snaps of Bamford and their young child.
Leeds have been back to their best after dropping down to the Championship and appointing Daniel Farke, but it's come at a cost to Bamford, who has found himself out of the starting side.
Bamford also added some words of encouragement to former team-mate Kalvin Phillips: "He's obviously going to look at what he can do to get back playing - and whatever that means for him," Bamford added.
"This is one of those where the public say he should just be happy because he's getting paid an absolute fortune, but there is no way, no matter how much you're getting paid, you cannot be happy sitting on the bench.
"I think it is one where he is chasing to get back in the England team and any footballer is going to choose playing over getting that extra bit of money."
