Man Utd and Newcastle to battle it out for French sensation
Manchester United are set to battle it out in the transfer market with fellow Premier League club Newcastle United to sign Lyon star Rayan Cherki in 2024, according to Football Insider.
The 20-year-old's current contract with the Ligue 1 giants expires in June 2025 and it remains to be seen if either of the English clubs manage to land him next year.
Spurs enter race to sign Brentford star
Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Brentford star Ivan Toney who is also wanted by Chelsea and Arsenal, according to Football Insider.
The report claims that Spurs are in search of a number nine and could make a move for the English international in the new year. Toney currently has a contract with the Bees until 2025.

Frank Lampard has claimed that Chelsea refused to sanction a £20m transfer swoop for Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham when he was at the helm.
"When I was managing at Chelsea (first time) I was desperate to bring Jude Bellingham in," Lampard revealed during a chat in the Obi One Podcast. "But I couldn't get it through upstairs - the idea of paying £20m for someone his age (at the time)."
