Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is one of the most talented in the world, and as things stand, he has no intention of leaving Bavaria. That said, there is news on where he might go if he did come to a decision to move on.
Sky Sports Deutschland have revealed that Bayern Munich are preparing a new contract for Musiala, and the 20-year-old is keen to stay at FC Hollywood. Currently in talks over a new deal, he is keen to win the Ballon d'Or at Bayern if he can.
However they also reveal that perhaps the earliest he would consider a departure is the summer of 2025, and that while Liverpool may be keeping an eye on him, they are not an option for Musiala himself. If he were to choose to depart Bayern, the only clubs to be considered are Real Madrid and Manchester City.
No doubt, it is hard to argue for any other major clubs representing a more promising and secure future than last year's Champions League semi-finalists. If indeed Musiala is keen on winning the Ballon d'Or, then Real Madrid would be a smart move. Their influence on the media machine, their own campaigning, and the visibility that Los Blancos give to players sets them in good stead to win the top awards.
