Spurs working to extend Son's contract
Tottenham Hotspur is in the process of preparing a fresh contract offer for Son Heung-min, as per reports from 90min.
Son, the 31-year-old forward, who is currently in his ninth season with Spurs, has already found the net thrice in the Premier League this season. He notably secured a hat-trick during a 5-2 victory against Burnley.
While the South Korean international's existing contract is set to expire in 2025, the Premier League club is eager to tie him down to a long-term contract. Sources indicate that negotiations for a new agreement could be finalized in the upcoming weeks.
Barcelona & Betis show interest in Lo Celso
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly considering a return to Real Betis, as per reports from AS. Barcelona have also shown interest in the player.
Lo Celso joined Spurs from Betis in the summer of 2019, first on loan and later on a permanent deal exercised by the Premier League club. During his time at Spurs, he made 84 appearances across various competitions, scoring nine goals, before losing his spot in the squad.
The Argentine international spent the last 18 months back in La Liga on loan with Villarreal, amassing 51 appearances.
However, this season, he has only played for 16 minutes with Spurs. Clubs reportedly declined to meet Spurs' €20 million valuation in the summer transfer window. The latest report suggests that Barcelona and Betis might revisit their interest in January to check if Tottenham has revised their asking price.
Spurs have first-refusal option on Kane
Tottenham will have the first-refusal option on Harry Kane if Bayern Munich choose to sell the striker in the future, according to Sky Sports.
"It's essentially Tottenham having the first option to re-sign Harry Kane if he ever does come back to the Premier League. It's something similar to what they had in the Gareth Bale deal to Real Madrid," Paul Gilmour said about the clause.
"If another English club comes in with a bid for Kane at any point during his Bayern Munich career, and Bayern accept that bid, then Tottenham will be given first refusal to match that offer. It would then be up to Kane on whether he would come back to Tottenham."
Arsenal set to compete with Chelsea and Real for Juventus star
Arsenal are all set to compete with Chelsea and Real Madrid in the race to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Caughtoffside.
Chelsea came close to signing the striker in a swap deal that involved Romelu Lukaku going the other way, a deal eventually did not materialise. Despite the failed attempt in the summer, the Blues continue to remain interested in Vlahovic's services along with Arsenal and Los Blancos.
