Adidas ha diseñado una equipación, inspirada en la primera que llevó Italia en 1910, para conmemorar los 125 años de su Federación
La selección italiana estrenará este jueves, en la semifinal de la Nations League que le enfrentará a España en Enschede (Países Bajos), una camiseta conmemorativa de los 125 años de la Federación Italiana de Fútbol (FIGC) inspirada en la primera que llevó en 1910.
Italia y Adidas comenzaron su andadura juntos este 2023, tras 23 años de relación contractual de manera interrumpida con Puma, y la marca deportiva germana preparó una camiseta especial para el 125 aniversario de la FIGC, fundada en 1898.
Blanca y con toques clásicos, como el cuello redondo, inspirada además en la que usó la selección italiana en su debut en 1910 (6-2 a Francia en la Arena Civica de Milán), la camiseta está fabricada con el tejido moderno pero "que recuerda el algodón y el corte suave del original", según explicó la propia federación italiana.
Las tres rayas clásicas de las mangas serán doradas y el escudo de la selección italiana estará acompañado, además de por detalles en dorado, de una corona de laurel y una inscripción especial por el aniversario.
El pantalón será blanco y las medias negras, generando contraste con los detalles dorados. Con el paso de los años la selección italiana adoptó el color azul que le caracteriza y pasó a llamarse 'azzurra'.
"Gracias a la colaboración con Adidas celebramos el 125º aniversario de la fundación de la FIGC con una camiseta icónica, cargada de historia y modernidad. La equipación por el aniversario interpreta a la perfección nuestra visión del desarrollo del fútbol: los valores y las raíces profundas representan la columna vertebral de un movimiento que mira al futuro y al cambio sin titubeos ni vacilaciones", declaró el presidente de la FIGC, Gabriele Gravina.
La camiseta, una edición limitada, estará a la venta a partir de este miércoles.
