A Aaron Ramsey (31 años) sigue sin sonreírle la fortuna. Cedido el pasado mes de enero al Rangers escocés por la Juventus, donde no contaba para Masimilliano Allegri, el galés tampoco está teniendo las oportunidades esperadas en Ibrox Stadium.

El ex del Arsenal firmó casi sobre la bocina -el último día del mercado de invierno- por los 'teddy bears' y desde entonces solo ha disputado 94 minutos distribuidos en cuatro partidos. Giovanni van Bronckhorst, técnico del Rangers, le hizo debutar solo una semana después de su presentación, dándole 14' ante el modesto Heart of Midlothian, al que ya vencían 4-0 en un choque que terminó 5-0.

Tras jugar otro cuarto de hora en la siguiente jornada de la Scottish Premiership de Escocia frente al Hibernian, Ramsey se estrenó como titular en los octavos de final de la Copa escocesa y participó en la victoria (0-3) del Rangers contra el Annan Athletic, de cuarta división, asistiendo a Helander en el primer tanto de los suyos.
Desde entonces, y hace casi un mes, Ramsey solo ha estado sobre el verde los 4' de los que dispuso en la vuelta del 'playoff' de la Europa League que los protestantes superaron imponiéndose, contra todo pronóstico, al Borussia Dortmund alemán. Parece que los mismos problemas físicos que lastraron su trayectoria en Turín han vuelto a aparecer en Glasgow y desde Italia ya apuntan que el Rangers no ejecutará su opción de compra por el de Caerphilly.
