El director deportivo del PSG, Leonardo, aseguró que la eliminación en octavos de final de la Liga de Campeones ante el Real Madrid "es un golpe duro" y dijo que hubo falta a Gianluigi Donnarumma en el primer tanto del equipo blanco, pero precisó que "no es excusa".
"Es un error arbitral grande, pero no hemos sabido controlarlo, mantener la calma, nos hemos hundido y no hemos sabido encontrar las soluciones. Es una pena que una decisión arbitral sea tan determinante. Tenemos que mantener la calma, cuesta sacar conclusiones", declaró a la televisión RMC Sports.
"Tenemos cosas que mejorar, es evidente, pero no podemos cambiarlo todo. Si lo pensamos bien, al descanso teníamos un equipo organizado que controló la situación en el Parque de los Príncipes y aquí en la primera mitad también. Luego, es difícil digerir la segunda", agregó.
"Es una derrota importante, pero hasta el descanso controlábamos, marcábamos, supimos ponernos 2-0. Creo que la decisión arbitral ha sido muy determinante, pero no es una excusa, hay errores nuestros que han sido importantes", destacó.
Sobre el futuro del entrenador, Mauricio Pochettino, dijo: "Está en nuestro proyecto, ha ido logrando objetivos. No es día para pensar en esto. Es un golpe muy duro, pero saldremos adelante".
