La reunión con su representante no ha ido como el club esperaba y, por ahora, no hay acuerdo para la renovación
A estas horas del miércoles 29 de diciembre, Ousmane Dembélé parece encaminado a salir del Barcelona este próximo verano. Tal y como ha contado el periodista Gerard Romero en su canal de Twitch y ha podido confirmar Goal, la negociación por la renovación de su contrato no ha ido como los dirigentes del Barça esperaban y el acuerdo, ahora, está lejos de producirse. El representante del jugador, Moussa Sissoko, ha presentado una propuesta inasumible para el club catalán. Las diferencias entre la cifra pedida y la ofrecida por la entidad blaugrana son abismales, por lo que la reunión ha terminado con las posturas muy alejadas. Hace unas semanas, ya avanzamos en este medio las dudas que estaba generando en el Barcelona la falta de respuesta del agente francés.
Desde el club son pesimistas, pero creen que todavía hay tiempo para reemprender las negociaciones y que la voluntad del futbolista debe tener peso. Según dicen desde el Barça, Dembélé les transmitió su intención de seguir vistiendo la camiseta blaugrana tras una conversación con Xavi Hernández, con lo cuál confían en volver a sentarse con el agente. El extremo francés, que sigue confinado en su casa por haber dado positivo en Covid, termina contrato en junio de 2022, hecho que significa que, a partir del próximo 1 de enero, ya podrá negociar libremente con cualquier club sin tener que comunicárselo al Barcelona. Su salida en junio es un caramelo para varios equipos europeos de primer nivel, que ven en Dembélé a un futbolista desequilibrante que podría llegarles gratis. Gratis entre muchas comillas, ya que habrá que abonarle un buen salario y acordar una prima de fichaje com su representante, que ha estado varios meses dando largas a la oferta de renovación que le dejó el Barcelona sobre la mesa.
Pese a que Xavi le quiere y que está construyendo un proyecto en el que el extremo debe ser punta de lanza, en el club no consiguen convencerle para que firme la renovación. Y cuanto más se alargue la situación, más ofertas tendrá sobre la mesa. Algunas, con mejores condiciones de las ofrecidas por el Barça, que este miércoles ha visto claro que las pretensiones del francés son inasumibles. A día de hoy, los salarios siguen bordeando el 90% de los ingresos, con lo cuál, una mejora de sueldo sin antes vender a algún futbolista importante como Philippe Coutinho es inviable para las arcas del club y para el límite salarial acordado con LaLiga, que ahora el Barcelona sobrepasa en más de un 400%. De hecho, sin la renovación a la baja de Dembélé o alguna salida urgente, Ferran Torres seguirá sin poder ser inscrito. "He hablado con él. No te voy a decir lo que he hablado, pero está muy feliz aquí. Vamos a ser positivos para que renueve, para mí es fundamental", comentó Xavi. Pues parece que el positivismo se va terminando.
