Ahora, con la convocatoria de Mendy para disputar la próxima Copa de África con Senegal, Kepa tendrá la oportunidad de jugar un mínimo de cinco partidos como titular: Liverpool (Premier League, 2/1), Tottenham (ida semifinales Carabao Cup, 5/1), Chesterfield (tercera ronda FA Cup, 8/1), Tottenham (vuelta semifinales Carabao Cup, 12/1) y Manchester City (Premier, 15/1).

La selección de de Aliou Cissé se medirá en la primera fase de dicha competición a Zimbabue (10/1), Guinea (14/1) y Malawi (18/1) y, en caso de ir avanzando, jugaría los octavos de final el 23 o 24/1, los cuartos el 29 o 30/1, las 'semis' el 2 o 3/2 y la gran final, el 6 de febrero.
