Confusión sobre el futuro profesional del Kun Aguero. En la previa del derbi entre el Barça y el Espanyol, una información periodística anunciaba su retirada definitiva y una rueda de prensa explicativa para la próxima semana. Durante dos horas largas, tanto el club azulgrana como su entorno más cercano, como su representante, mantenían un frío silencio oficial. Poco antes de empezar el encuentro, en Barça TV, el vicepresidente Rafa Yuste desmentía la noticia. “El Kun tiene tres meses para ver cómo va la evolución de esta anomalía. Nos dijeron que necesitaba tres meses para valorar si podía seguir jugando o no”.
La retirada fue avanzada por el periodista Gerard Romero en su canal de Twitch, citando fuentes del entorno del delantero argentino, ocho días después de que Catalunya Ràdio informase que el Kun ya no podría jugar más al fútbol por una patología grave en su corazón, una arritmia maligna. La gravedad del problema cardíaco se detectó tras las pruebas médicas efectuadas después del partido contra el Alavés en el Camp Nou jugado el pasado 31 de octubre.
El jugador pidió el cambio en la primera parte al notar “un malestar torácico” y dificultades al respirar y estuvo ingresado varios días en el Hospital de Barcelona. El club comunicó que el argentino sería baja durante unos tres meses y que se iría valorando la efectividad del tratamiento al que sería sometido. La duda es saber si ya en dos semanas se ha podido confirmar que no ha hecho el efecto esperado y el Kun tendrá que decir adiós al fútbol de forma anticipada con un bagaje de cuatro partidos disputados y un único gol.
No sólo las informaciones llegaban desde Barcelona sino que en Argentina, según se comentó a MD, se contaba también que no iba a jugar más, que esperaba llegar a un acuerdo económico con el Barça, que su salida era inevitable y que no tenía intención de volver a Argentina si no seguir en el ámbito del fútbol. Además, Samir Nasri confirmaba horas después en Canal + Francia que había recibido un mensaje de su ex compañero y amigo confirmando que se iba a retirar.
Durante unas horas hubo mutismo comunicativo por parte del Barça, Tampoco el agente del Kun aportó luz. Pero luego llegó la batería de negaciones. Raya Yuste dijo que “desmiento que el Kun vaya anunciar su retirada”. Después salió Mateu Alemany: Tiempo habrá para verlo. En estos momentos las cosas no están claras”. Xavi también quiso ser contundente: “Hablé con él el otro día. Lo que ha salido no es cierto. No tenemos esta información, estamos hablamos con él.
