El parón de selecciones no le ha sentado bien al Bayern Múnich. El rival del Barça en la Champions League, que el martes visitaráal Dinamo Kiev, estuvo muy lejos de su nivel arrollador y perdió el derbi bávaro (2-1) ante el sorprendente Augsburgo, que salió del antepenúltimo lugar que ocupaba.
El Bayern, que acusó la baja de Joshua Kimmich al verse obligado a guardar una segunda cuarentena consecutiva al ser contacto directo de una persona que ha dado positivo de Covid-19, seguirá líder de la Bundesliga en esta jornada, pero el Borussia Dortmund se le acercará a un punto si mañana vence en casa al Stuttgart.
Dos llegadas, dos goles
El Bayern tuvo un control ficticio de partido en la primera parte ya que movió el balón sin velocidad y no inquietó a un Augsburgo concentrado en defensa, agresivo en la presión y tremendamente efectivo en ataque en sus dos únicos remates entre los tres palos en todo el partido.
Dos llegadas por la izquierda de Iago, el mejor del Augsburgo, acabaron en gol. En el minuto 23 un centro del lateral brasileño al primer palo lo despejó en primera instancia Lucas Hernandez, pero el balón quedó franco para el lateral danés Mads Pedersen, quien lo clavó en la red con un zurdazo con el exterior.
Sabitzer, retratado en el 2-0
Trece minutos después, en el 36', Marcel Sabitzer perdió un balón por la centro ante la presión de Andi Zeqiri, quien abrió a la izquierda para que Iago de nuevo pusiera un centro perfecto que Andre Hahn convirtió en el 2-0 con un cabezazo picado.
Gol 63 del polaco en 2021
La mejor noticia del Bayern en esta primera parte fue el gol de Robert Lewandowski, su 63º en 2021 y 14º en la actual edición de la Bundesliga. Benjamin Pavard centró desde la derecha, Thomas Müller (en su 600º partido con el equipo bávaro) tocó sin control de espuela y el esférico le cayó al polaco, quien soltó una potente volea que, pese a salirle centrada, no acabó de tapar Rafal Gikiewicz (38').
Tras el descanso Lewandowski recibió un regalo de Robert Gumny en el despeje, pero esta vez perdonó ya que le volvió a salir una volea centrada que se fue por encima del larguero (50').
Nagelsmann, en casa, reacciona
Julian Nagelsmann, nacido a 40 kilómetros de Augsburgo y hoy ante el equipo donde jugó como juvenil y empezó su carrera de entrenador como responsable de su segunda plantilla, ordenó acto seguido dos cambios en el minuto 52: Alphonso Davies por Omar Richards en el lateral zurdo y Jamal Musiala por un Sabitzer retratado por su pérdida en el 2-0.
El Bayern ganó en profundidad con Davies en el campo y fue encerrando al Augsburgo al jugar cada vez más cerca del área aunque sin lograr rematar sus jugadas.
Davies, un recurso insuficiente
Davies fue su mejor recurso con las subidas por su banda y el canadiense tuvo el 2-2 en el minuto 74 al recortar a un rival y prodigar un disparo cruzado que salió muy cerca del poste.
Ya en pleno acoso, Lewandowski recibió de Müller y, pese a que controló y remató con suma rapidez, tampoco pudo ajustar lo suficiente y Gikiewicz sacó el balón (80').
El Bayern, pese a su mejoría en la segunda parte, no jugó bien, le faltó claridad y precisión y acabó encajando su segunda derrota de la Bundesliga.
