El entrenador del Sevilla reconoce el mal partido de su equipo en una “mala noche para todos” y no se escuda en el arbitraje. “Con la segunda parte que hemos hecho está fuera de lugar”
Julen Lopetegui, entrenador del Sevilla, ha lamentado abiertamente el resultado obtenido ante el Lille que complica la clasificación para los octavos de final de la Champions League. El entrenador guipuzcoano fue claro a la hora de señalar que el penalti de Delaney a Bamba fue clave y decisivo para que todo se volviera en contra.
"No voy a hablar del arbitraje"
"El partido ha empezado bien, conseguimos marcar y estábamos por encima de ellos, pero la el penalti nos ha movido demasiado, hemos perdido la calma y hemos entrado en el ida y vuelta en el que ellos son buenos. Luego en el segundo tiempo cuando han marcado el segundo no hemos sabido reponernos", comentó el de Asteasu, quien no quería valorar la labor del rumano Kovacs y esa jugada en la que el VAR le avisó del manotazo de Delaney que se convirtió en penalti. "No voy a hablar del arbitraje porque sería un error por mi parte. Hay que hablar de nuestros errores para aprender y tirar hacia adelante. No podemos escudarnos en el arbitraje. Con la segunda parte que hemos hecho no me apetece hablar del árbitro, me parece fuera de lugar".
Lopetegui es consciente de la gravedad de la derrota. "Hemos perdido tres puntos, que necesitábamos ganar. No está imposible la clasificación, pero sí complicada, nos obliga a ganar los dos partidos”, agregó.
“Fue un partido complejo, empezamos bien, hemos marcado y en vez de darnos tranquilidad ha venido la jugada del posible penalti, y luego el penalti. Se ha puesto un partido de transición, nos ha faltado controlarlo. Ahí se no has escapado el partido, también ha tenido el acicate del segundo gol, y hemos estado con muchos nervios y precipitación. No hemos podido conseguir ese gol para empatar. No hemos tenido la calma necesaria para darle al partido lo que requería, con posesiones más largas y que no se partiera el partido. Con empate a uno debería haber pasado, ya perdiendo era más complicado. En la segunda parte el equipo no ha estado bien y el máximo responsable es el técnico", añadió el ex seleccionador.

"En la Champions cualquier error te penaliza, es muy exigente. Un penalti es un detalle importante. A partir de ahí no hemos tenido tranquilidad. No hemos hecho lo que queríamos haber hecho. La noche es mala para todos, pero en el fútbol hay que levantarse. Tenemos muchos motivos para hacerlo con lo que viene. Tocara levantarse, aprender y tirar hacia delante", concluyó.
