No habrá Premier League en las próximas dos semanas pero al menos este domingo se ha despedido a lo grande con un partido que la define como la mejor competición liguera del mundo: dos favoritos al título luchando cara a cara con todo, sufriendo el dominio de su rival en muchos momentos del encuentro, reponiéndose ante los golpes recibidos y regalando un 2-2 final que dejó a todos con ganas de más. Lo del Liverpool y el Manchester City fue un duelo que se podría poner dentro de varios años, como un disco recopilatorio de grandes éxitos, para explicar por qué la rivalidad entre ‘reds’ y ‘citizens’ durante los mandatos de Klopp y Guardiola ha sido la más excitante y atractiva de la última década en Inglaterra.
