busca del título del Campeonato Gaúcho.
El español Miguel Ángel
Ramírez jugará su primera final como entrenador del Internacional, esta vez
frente a Gremio, su más enconado rival, en pos del Campeonato Gaúcho.
El Gremio se clasificó este
domingo para la gran decisión del torneo de fútbol que reúne a los mejores
equipos del estado de Rio Grande do Sul después de derrotar por 2-0 al
Caxias,en el partido de vuelta de las semifinales.
El centrocampista Matheus
Henrique y el extremo Ferreira decantaron la balanza a favor del Tricolor de
Porto Alegre, que partía con la ventaja de haber ganado por 1-2 el encuentro de
ida.
El entrenador Tiago Nunes
sigue invicto desde que llegó a banquillo del Gremio a finales de abril.
La de este año será la cuarta
final del Campeonato Gaúcho seguida para Gremio, campeón de las tres últimas
ediciones tras superar a Brasil de Pelotas (2018), Internacional (2019) y
Caxias (2020).
Internacional certificó su
pase a la final el sábado con una contundente victoria por 4-1 sobre Juventude,
que neutralizó el 1-0 que encajó en el partido de ida.
En el estadio Beira-Rio,
anotaron para los colorados el volante Edenílson, el lateral Rodinei, el
delantero Yuri Alberto y el centrocampista Maurício.
La final entre Inter y Gremio,
el derbi más mediático de Porto Alegre y que en Brasil se conoce como 'grenal',
será a doble partido y se disputará los días 16 y 23 de este mes.
Será la primera para el
español Miguel Ángel Ramírez al frente del banquillo del Inter, que asumió en
marzo de este año, tras su exitoso paso por Ecuador, donde conquistó la Copa
Sudamericana en 2019 con Independiente del Valle y se convirtió en el primer
técnico europeo en ganar ese torneo.
Ramírez se empezó a formar
como técnico en las categorías inferiores de la Unión Deportiva Las Palmas y el
Deportivo Alavés, ambos en España, para después viajar a Catar, donde pasó seis
años.
En ese país completó su
preparación en la Academia Aspire, por donde también pasaron los exjugadores
Raúl González, del Real Madrid, y Xavi Hernández, del Barcelona, para
posteriormente dar el salto a Ecuador.
