El Milan se sigue agarrando al
clavo de la Champions League. Su cómoda victoria ante el Benevento (2-0) coloca
al cuadro de Pioli en la segunda plaza a expensas de lo que ocurra el domingo
con el Atalanta, que si no gana hará además campeón al Inter de Milán.
Lo cierto es que el partido se
puso de cara muy pronto para el Milan. En una muy buena jugada, Calhanoglu
recogía un pase al área de Saelemaekers para batir a Montipo por el primer
palo. No es que el Beneventu estuviera mal, es que le faltó puntería en los
metros finales. Ibrahimovic y Leao fueron muy participativos en campo
contrario, aunque solo les faltó el gol. También por acierto bajo palos de
Montipo, un incordio para que los de Pioli tomaran ventaja.
Los fallos encadenados cara a
puerta del Milan hicieron mantenerse vivo al Benevento. Hasta que llegó un
habitual en partidos en los que se le necesita: Theo Hernández. Ibra recibió
del francés, golpeó, Montipo rechazó y Theo, que había seguido la jugada, puso
el gol de la tranquilidad (60’).
Ese tanto mató el partido. Al
Benevento se le acabaron las fuerzas y los cambios no ayudaron a mantener el
ritmo del primer tiempo. El Milan se conformó, bajó marchas y aunque pudo hacer
un tercero, el marcador no se volvió a mover.
