En una entrevista concedida al
diario ‘Marca’, Mohamed Salah destaca la importancia de la ausencia de
Cristiano Ronaldo en la eliminatoria de Champions ante el Liverpool.
Con motivo de los cuartos de
final de la Liga de Campeones que disputarán Liverpool y Real Madrid, el diario
‘Marca’ entrevistó a Mohamed Salah, quien habló del duelo y de la final
disputada en Kiev entre ambos equipos de la temporada 2017-18, que acabó con
triunfo blanco por 3-1.
Preguntado por si le tiene
ganas al Madrid, dijo que “dejémoslo en que tengo unas ganas especiales de
ganar el partido y clasificarnos para las semifinales. Lo que vaya a pasar
ahora no va a cambiar el resultado de la final de Kiev. Aquello está
terminado”.
Y no quiso recordar la lesión
que le provocó Sergio Ramos en aquel choque. “Aquel partido ya se acabó, así
que no pienso en eso. Pienso en el equipo, todo el mundo piensa en su equipo y
todos quieren ganar. Eso es todo”.
Salah cree que el cambio
principal entre entonces y ahora es que “entre aquel momento y este nosotros
hemos ganado la Premier y la Champions. Somos campeones. Eso es cambiar mucho”.
Y respecto al Real Madrid,
comentó que “ellos han perdido algunos grandes jugadores, como Cristiano
Ronaldo, el mejor de su historia, alguien que marcaba muchísimos goles. Al
mismo tiempo han fichado a Hazard. Eden no ha tenido suerte, ha estado
lesionado... Pero es diferente. El equipo ahora está en cuartos de final, tiene
grandes jugadores, aunque han perdido los goles de Ronaldo. No puedo decir cuál
es mejor, simplemente digo que están en cuartos ahora, seguro que preparados y
nosotros necesitamos estar listos para enfrentarnos a ellos”.
Lo que más le preocupa del
equipo merengue es “que pueden ganar la Champions League. Juegan muy bien esta
competición, la han ganado no sé, muchas veces, en los últimos 10 años han
ganado cuatro. Es un equipo al que realmente se le da muy bien la Champions”.
Finalmente, de Zinedine Zidane
dijo que “es un gran entrenador, ha ganado tres Champions, lo está haciendo muy
bien con el equipo. Se fue y volvió para ayudar al equipo a ganar títulos otra
vez. Era uno de mis ídolos cuando yo era pequeño. Como entrenador lo está
haciendo genial”.
