El Bayern de Múnich no está por la labor de liberar a Hansi Flick de su contrato en el Allianz Arena hasta 2023 en caso de que el entrenador quiera heredar a Joachim Löw como seleccionador alemán después de la Eurocopa en verano. Así lo subrayó Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, presidente de la junta directiva del campeón del sextete en declaraciones recogidas por la agencia DPA en las que se mostró de lo más tajante con el futuro del técnico.
"Estaríamos locos si dejásemos marchar a nuestro entrenador antes de tiempo", explicó el máximo responsable del Bayern después de que Flick sonara con fuerza para el banquillo de la Mannschaft. Es más: Rummenigge no dudó a la hora de contactar con Fritz Keller, presidente de la federación alemana de fútbol (DFB) para aclarar el asunto en persona: "La decisión del DFB de no contactar con ningún entrenador que tenga contrato más allá de 2021 me parece seria y acertada", matizó.
Eso sí, el mandatario muniqués tampoco se cortó y dejó claro que no existe ninguna posibilidad de que Flick termine en el combinado alemán. "Siempre he dicho que el entrenador es el empleado más importante y tenemos un acuerdo contractual que se conoce. Desde ese punto de vista, no es un problema en absoluto. No vamos a resolver los problemas de la DFB. Y si soy sincero: Si yo fuera entrenador y cambiara el FC Bayern por la DFB, solo me provocaría risa", concluyó.
