Doce hinchas radicales del
Marsella (OM) fueron condenados este miércoles a penas de cárcel, aunque
exentas de cumplimiento para once de ellos, por el ataque perpetrado contra el
centro de entrenamiento del club el 30 de enero.
El Tribunal Correccional de
Marsella impuso tres meses de prisión firme contra uno de estos aficionados
porque ya había sido condenado anteriormente por robo. A los otros once, los
sentenció a seis meses exentos de cumplimiento y solo ingresarán en la cárcel
en caso de reincidencia.
Los cuatro que habían
permanecido en prisión provisional en las tres últimas semanas y que
comparecieron detenidos ante el tribunal debían quedar en libertad esta misma
noche.
En el origen de este proceso
están los altercados que se produjeron en la tarde del 30 de enero en la
Commanderie, el centro de entrenamiento del OM, pocas horas antes del partido
de liga que el equipo marsellés tenía programado con el Rennes, y que tuvo que
ser finalmente aplazado.
Unos 300 hinchas atacaron a
los policías que protegían el complejo, algunos de ellos penetraron en el
interior y vandalizaron las instalaciones, en una acción de protesta contra la
dirección.
En esos incidentes en los que
siete agentes resultaron ligeramente heridos y en los que el jugador español
Álvaro González recibió el impacto de un objeto en la espalda, el club estimó
los daños materiales en decenas de miles de euros.
