goles de un resurgido Genoa a su exequipo, que falló muchas ocasiones y queda a
10 puntos del líder
El Nápoles, rival del Granada
en 1/32 de final de la Europa League, mantiene su línea irregular en la Serie A
y, tras perder hoy ante el Genoa (2-1), queda ya a 10 puntos del Inter que
pueden ser 12 si el Milan recupera mañana el liderato con un triunfo ante el
Crotone. Aumenta la presión sobre el cuestionado Gennaro Gattuso.
Goran Pandev, veteranísimo de
37 años, fue el gran verdugo del Nápoles con su doblete, que no quiso celebrar
por respeto al que fue su equipo de 2011 a 2014. El delantero macedonio incluso
pidió perdón al marcar cada uno de sus dos goles.
Perin, un muro
El Nápoles, pese a las
ausencias por positivos de coronavirus de Fabián Ruiz, Kalidou Koulibaly y
Faouzi Ghoulam y de Dries Mertens por lesión, jugó un buen partido, remató en
infinidad de ocasiones a la portería de un inspiradísimo Mattia Perin, pero se
estrelló contra el muro levantado por el resucitado Genoa.
De hecho el Nápoles empezó
volcado y en los primeros cinco minutos ya había chutado tres veces por medio
de Piotr Zielinski, Hirving Lozano y Giovanni Di Lorenzo encontrando siempre la
réplica de Perin.
Dos llegadas, dos goles
En cambio, el Genoa solo
necesitó dos llegadas para marcar dos goles. En la primera su presión forzó el
error de Diego Demme y Milan Badelj puso el balón en profundidad a Pandev,
quien se plantó ante David Ospina, hizo una pausa y con aplomo le batió al palo
corto (11’).
Petagna, al larguero
El Nápoles reaccionó bien con
una rápida circulación de balón, aunque le faltó el último pase entre un
replegado rival. Aún así, Andrea Petagna tuvo el empate al cabecear al larguero
un centro de Mario Rui (24’).
Del 1-1 se pasó al 2-0. Una
descoordinación de la defensa del Nápoles la aprovechó Miha Zajc para ceder en
corto al desmarcado Pandev, quien se revolvió antes de batir a Ospina (27’).
El Nápoles acusó por momentos
este segundo golpe pero antes del descanso obligó a Perin a intervenir dos
veces más para repeler los disparos de Eljif Elmas y Zielinski.
Gattuso, con cuatro delanteros
y otro palo
Tras el descanso, viendo que
el gol no llegaba, arriesgó dando entrada a Lorenzo Insigne y a Victor Osimhen
por lo que el Nápoles pasó a jugar con cuatro delanteros. Con el paso de los
minutos el acoso visitante se intensificó.
Un disparo con intención de
Matteo Politano no encontró portería por muy poco (56’), Perin prodigó un
paradón en un remate de Demme (71’) e Insigne desvió al palo un balón que le
puso Lozano (78’).
Politano reduce distancias
Era la segunda vez que los
intentos del Nápoles se estrellaban en los postes, pero en la siguiente jugada
Politano por fin marcó al caerle un mal despeje del recién entrado Manolo
Portanova y fusilar con la zurda (79’). Un remate a las nubes de Tiémoué
Bayakoko en el descuento fue el último cartucho.
El Genoa, 17 partidos después
y lanzado con Ballardini
Al final el Genoa, pese a
poner fin a una racha de 356 minutos sin encajar un gol, festejó su primer
triunfo sobre el Nápoles tras 17 partidos sin conseguirlo desde 2012 y sigue su
ascenso espectacular desde el retorno de Davide Ballardini a su banquillo.
Asumió las riendas del ‘Grifone’ en el penúltimo lugar tras la jornada 13 y ya
es 11º merced a una serie de cinco victorias y una sola derrota en los últimos
8 encuentros.
